Mark
Do you are out of temper today?
Anna
No, but I ´m a little bit frustrated. I ´ve found a dead swan - cygnet in the city - parc recently.
Mark
Ah, the poor cygnet. I ´m greatly distressed about it.
Anna
The six cygnets were born four days before at all, but now three of them are already dead.
Mark
Was the cygnet bitten by a dog?
Anna
No it isn´t. The cygnet lay there totally unhurted. The sudden cold snap caused it probably.
Mark
You are right, it´s getting very cold weather at once.
Anna
At first we got nearly summer during the autumn, but suddenly the cold snap came.
Mark
Problably the swans thought we would have got already spring time again, because normally the swans are do not breeding during the autumn.
Anna
The whole of the nature is mixed up.
Mark
Hmm. What did the dead cygnets have such a kind of life? They lived only a few days.
Anna
One was freezen, the other one was bitten by a dog, the third one was run over by a cyclist.
Mark
But that wasn´t worth while at all. In such a case it would be have been better that the cygnets would not had been born at all.
Anna
But you cannot know it before. We can die aleady today too, although we are still young.
Mark
Surely, but the swans had got to much bad luck. Their first breeding died already in spring.
Anna
That was caused by the worse thunderstorms.
Mark
But the swans don´t give up, they want to get new cygnets in spite of it.
Anna
Why do they do so at all?
Mark
...because the swans would die out otherwise.
Anna
But I don´t think that the swans are be interested in this matter.
Mark
I don´t think so too.
Anna
If I were a swan, I wouldn´t breed eggs at all. That must be very boaring.
Mark
I think the swans cannot decide about it by themselves. The are bounded by the nature to do so.
Anna
Like a computer?
Mark
Yes, you can compare it.
Anna
...but what is about us men?
Mark
It is similar, but we ´ve got a larger discretion.
Anna
Perhaps we will have our own families with kids one day too.
Mark
I have not thought about this matter till today. We are still young. Let´s see and wait what will be happen!
Anna
One time I asked grandma. She told me that she had never thought about it. It was quite normal to marry and to found a family at her time.
Mark
Similar to the swans.
Anna
Probably all of us have to fulfil a task on earth.
Mark
But shall that be all matters? Does life exist also in order that we can have a little bit fun?
Anna
Aunt Angelika said, we are living in order to work for oneself and one´s kids. There is no paradise on earth, we will get the paradise already when we will have been died.
Mark
But daddy opposes...
Anna
Yes, he said it would be perverse to respect the sense of life in your death.
Mark
Do the Christians think so?
Anna
At least they are telling that all men are guilty and sinful and therefore they have to be purged in order to be able to go to paradise.
Mark
Ah, I do better think about real matters. But if aunt Angelika will really be absolutely sure that heaven is so great, why doesn´t she comit suicide?
Anna frigthens
Suicide is forbidden! People who comit suicide cannot go to heaven, the television - clergyman said.
Mark
But why?
Anna
I don´t know... But I guess people who comit suicide cannot reproduce themselves any longer.
Mark
Like gays? Gays also cannot go to heaven.
Anna
Probably.
Mark
Hm. If I sum up the matters, the sense of life will be the reproduction, the work and humility by the view of the religions.
Anna
No, thank you!
Mark
I think, daddy will be all right. It is also the sense of life to have fun.
Anna
I agree to you. Only if we are feeling well, we can make a good and senseful work for us and other people.
